Job Description

Receptionist/Administrator – Prestigious Events Co. in North West London
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000

Location: North West London

This prestigious North West London Events Company seek to recruit a tip- top professional and articulate Receptionist/Telephonist with at least two years recent Receptionist/Telephonist experience with a mature approach. It is also essential that you live locally to the North West London area for this position. Candidates who do not have the relevant experience will not be considered.

This role requires an individual with fist class communication and interpersonal skills to work as part of a friendly team. Working in a very busy environment you must also possess excellent multi-tasking skills. This is a varied role including:

· Meeting and greeting visitors and offering visitors refreshments (tea, coffee, etc).

· Answer the switchboard in a professional manner and transfer calls to the relevant person/department.

· Managing and running accounts with taxis/couriers/bike (UK & Worldwide) companies and negotiate rates.

· Operate a visitor’s badge system so that visitors to our offices are immediately recognisable.

· Overseeing delivery and distribution of daily newspapers, milk, etc.

· Be responsible for the incoming and outgoing post i.e. sorting post in the mornings and franking post in the afternoons.

· Organising speed mail collections/deliveries.

· Producing PowerPoint/Excel presentations and other documents.

· Updating of internal telephone extension list, noting new members of staff and leavers when advised by the HR Department.

· Updating overseas offices address list, etc, and distributing to London and overseas offices.

· Meeting room bookings.

· Responsible for London hotel bookings and airport transfers for overseas visitors.

· Responsible for opening the office every morning and deactivating the alarm system.

· Other ad hoc duties to assist Corporate Services Department.

Candidates who do not have a solid Receptionist/Telephonist background with at least one year’s solid experience will not be considered for this position.
