A major exhibitions company is looking for a sales professional, based in the Manchester office, they will join a national sales force of 5 people and ideally should be an experienced sales professional with at least 2+ year’s experience of exhibition or advertising display sales within a B2B environment. They will need to demonstrate a track record of generating significant sales growth in their current role as well as a clear understanding of how to manage a sales territory in order to maximize sales opportunities.
Your role will be to sell exhibition stand space and sponsorship for major exhibitions.
The event also includes industry lead conferences, keynotes, seminars, networking feature areas and Industry Achievement Awards dinners and ceremonies into the portfolio.
We are now looking to recruit a sales professional to maintain and grow the exhibition stand sales within the a major B2B exhibition. Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a sales territory ranging from Birmingham northwards. They will be targeted to generate approximately 40% of sales for the exhibition including generating sponsorship sales and ensuring that current client relationships are maintained whilst generating new business opportunities.
The generation of new business, account management, and B2B face to face sales is essential, closing sales deals. Experience in either exhibition sales and advertising sales is ideal for this role.
