Account Manager - Sales Executive - Exhibition Sales. A major Exhibitions and Media company is looking for an Account Manager - Sales Executive to sell their exhibition stand space and sponsorship for one of their flagship, major Exhibitions. Experience required: A minimum of one years B2B sales experience in any industry, although exhibitions and / or Media experience would be nice to have.
ROLE: Account Manager - Sales
LOCATION: London
BASIC: £23k to £25K
OTE: £35k uncapped.
ROLE: To consistently & demonstrably maximise revenues through exhibition space & sponsorship sales.
This will include: Telephone sales: Appropriate call preparation & objective setting.
Enthusiastic, assured & professional delivery.
Tenacious pursuit of correct decision makers for your product.
Comprehensive identification of client needs.
Intelligent & imaginative presentation of appropriate benefits.
Capable objection handling.
Confident & versatile closing technique.
Face-to-face sales:
Arrangement of appropriate sales appointments with correct decision makers.
Thorough research of client & creative preparation of appropriate materials.
Effective use of allotted time to probe client needs & improve market knowledge.
Professional & effective use of visual aids.
Control of meeting through presence & agenda setting.
Determined closing & agreement of follow-up actions.
Ability to present to groups as well as individuals & to use modern presentation methods & technologies.
Account Management:
Manage accounts in an effective manner
Full knowledge & awareness of personnel & where different contacts fit within the decision making process.
Understanding of how accounts are developing their marketing strategy & how this impacts your show – its development & positioning.
Creative development & presentation of appropriate sponsorship & value added solutions to market your show as a central part of your accounts’ marketing plans.
Ensure all proposals are deliverable in terms of marketing, operations & show budgets.
Ensure you have extensive industry & market knowledge and understanding and be able to apply this as a valuable source of information for colleagues, customers & prospects.
