Our client a destination and hotel representation company is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team. The position is mainly field based but with their office located in West London.
You will be responsible for developing and maximising MICE business to our destinations and hotels.
As a Sales Manager you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities, including:
To increase MICE business through cold calling, market research, corporate presentations and pitches to clients.
To identify source and negotiate contracts with Travel Management Companies and tender for corporate business.
To work with the management team to implement the corporate & MICE strategy.
Represent and attend business related trade and consumer shows.
Update and maintain accurate database records
To work closely with other colleagues in the Sales and Marketing Team.
Sales Manager remuneration package:
Up to £28K (d.o.e)
Sales Manager skill attributes:
A proven track record in sales with previous experience targeting the MICE market
Target driven with the with ability to succeed in a new market.
Both the ability to work on your on initiative and successfully within team.
Excellent time management skills
Must be willing to travel on a regular basis and have your own transport
Must have a flexible approach to their work and responsibilities
