Our client, a leading exhibition organiser currently has a fabulous opportunity to join their team as a ‘Sales Executive’. Your primary responsibility will be to sell Exhibition Space for some of the UK’s fastest growing exhibitions.

As an Exhibition Sales Executive you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities, including:

• Actively sell exhibition space over the phone and face to face.

• Source new business from trade press, rival media and competing UK and European events.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients.

• Develop and effectively manage the database and identify potential new areas of business.

• Assist with the preparation and follow up of the selection panel meetings.

• Effectively communicate exhibition floor plan changes/amends to the sales manager

• Immerse yourself in the markets and track industry developments by regularly monitoring the industry press.

• Project manage individual projects

• Regularly attend industry evening events/launches and panel meetings.

• The position will be largely telephoned based, with some attendance at Trade shows within Europe.


Exhibition Sales Executive Remuneration package:

• Up to £25K (d.o.e) plus Bonus
• Excellent Bonus (Target related)

Exhibition Sales Executive skill attributes:

• You will be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a willingness to immerse yourself in an exciting and fast moving industry.

• Excellent Business development and sales skills with the ability to create relationships with clients.

• Target driven with experience in a both telesales and face to face.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

• Working knowledge of German, French or Italian would be an advantage.

• Excellent time management skills with the flexibility to work across various events.

• Excellent communication skills, with a strong aspiration to meet and exceed client expectations.

• Strong organisational abilities, accuracy and attention to detail.

• Good administrative skills and computer literacy, particularly with Word, Power point, Excel, Outlook and Database management.

• A full Driving license would be an advantage

• A flexible team player.
