Our client is a highly successful Midlands based AV Hire Company, with a large equipment inventory, who have recently relocated in to new custom built premises. As part of this continued growth they are looking to recruit a Warehouse Lighting Technician to join their team.
The business is involved with both the dry hire of equipment through to full technical management and crewing of projects such as conferences, project launches and award ceremonies, for either production companies or end clients.
Based within the companies state of the art warehouse, the Warehouse Technicians role includes the following responsibilities:
Managing stock control
Maintaining quality control
Kit preparation, despatch
Occasional on-site rigging and technical assistance
The successful candidate will have proven lighting experience in a full time capacity either within the audiovisual industry, or at a technical venue, preferably with knowledge of a warehouse environment.
In addition to their lighting knowledge the candidate should have a very good awareness of all AV equipment, including; sound, video, projection, as well as set and staging.
This is an ideal opportunity for an existing \"on the road\" technician who wants to change to an office based position or an existing warehouse technician who wants to progress their career within a well regarded business, that believes in developing staff.
