My client offers a wide range of event services from venue and accommodation booking, to conference and exhibitions management across global locations. Working across a range of clients they have built up relationships, and totally understand their client’s current and projected event requirements. Due to a fantastic year so far with the business going from strength to strength they are currently recruiting an office based Client Manager to head up one of their client teams. Reporting into the Operations Manager this role will be very hands on in terms of team management and reporting, with the Client Manager having overall responsibility to maximise revenue on client accounts. In order to succeed within this role you must have an event management background with line management experience. You will manage the relationship with clients and oversee a small team in the delivery of the events to ensure service levels agreements are adhered to and events managed according to guidelines and time frames. Key duties include: • Managing client contracts including renegotiation and renewals • Handling more complex event enquiries and meeting management • Continual review of service level agreements • Line management of team members • Managing the budget and increasing revenue wherever possible • Forecasting and reporting results • Working with the Client Development Manager to develop new business opportunities within the accounts • Key point of contact for senior levels within the client account This is great opportunity for someone with a strong conference and event background currently working within an event agency or prestigious venue or alternatively someone with hotel experience looking to break into the world of event agencies. The main focus of this great opportunity is to really develop a strong relationship with key clients in order to increase revenues through events and event services.
